Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an Indian organization to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. SSC has recently announced 1000 vacancies for the engineers for various post and discipline like Junior Engineer Civil, Junior Engineer (Electrical), Junior Engineer Mechanical and Junior Engineer (Q S & C). Important Dates for SSC Recruitment 2015 JE
- Release Date of Notification: 11 July 2015
- Last Date to fill the SSC JE Application Form: 7 August 2015 (upto 5:00 P.M.) for Part-I and 10 August 2015 (upto 5:00 P.M.) for Part-II
- Written Examination Date: 06 December 2015 (Sunday)
Eligibility Criteria for SSC JE 2015
Nationality/citizenship
A candidate must be an Indian citizen or anyone of the following:
a. Subject of Nepal
b. Subject of Bhutan
c. Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1 January 1962 to permanently settle in India
d. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
Note: If a candidate is not an Indian citizen, he must produce a certificate of eligibility that has been issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit (As on 1 January 2015)
(I) 18 to 27 years age for JE (Civil & Electrical) in CPWD and Department of Posts.
(II) Up to 30 years for JE (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) in MES.
(III) Up to 32 years for JE (Civil & Mechanical) in CWC and Farakka Barrage.
(IV) 18 to 27 years of age for Junior Engineers (Quantity Surveying and Contract) in MES.
(V) Up to 30 years of age for Junior Engineer (Civil) and JE (Electrical & Mechanical) in Border Roads Organization (BRO) of Ministry of Defense.
Note: Age concession and relaxation will be applied for SC/ST/PWD and Ex-servicemen candidates, as per the regulations of Government of India.
Steps to Apply Online for SSC JE 2015
- Go to ssc website examination notice page >> click here
- Select your vacancy from the table.
- Fill the exact details in the form and upload you photograph and signature.
- Click Submit and Generate Challan or pay fee online through sbi debit card.
- Submit Challan at nearest SBI Branch after 1 day of challan generation date.
- Complete the Part-II registration by filling challan details.
- Done !
It is basically three tier exam for the selection for the post of junior engineer. First objective type exam will be held on 6th December, 2015 and date of second exam will announce after the result of first objective type exam.
